The Future is Orange

and perhaps lemon too!

High streets up and down the country are awash with the new season’s trends. One that has caught our eye in particular is the inclusion of juicy orange, a tangerine delight that looks surprisingly good on most skin tones.

Go all out in complete head-to-toe tone or just add a hint-of with orange separates or accessories, great for brightening all those monochrome ensembles. Direct from the catwalks the high street has taken their trend cue from the likes of Alberta Ferretti, DKNY, Tibi and Vivienne Tam. While designer newcomer Eugene Lin used firecracker as a statement shade to spice-up an otherwise minimal black & white collection.

Back to the high street and those enticing window displays to drag us promptly out of a grey winter. Young brands such as Top Shop, Miss Selfridge and Mango have endorsed the trend while the likes of John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Fenn Wright Mason take it to the mid-market.

For those that can’t get enough you can also find orange lipstick and nail polishes being touted in the beauty market from Chanel, Bobbi Brown to Maybelline and MAC.
