Model of the Moment: Renee Van Seggern
Each season produces a collection of favourite faces working the international circuit, and of course this season was no different. Making her mark at London Fashion Week this September was Dutch model Renee Van Seggern.
Renee opened and closed the show for Paul Smith which is the equivalent of saying “take note, she’s arrived and she is the model of the moment!” Other designers utilizing her strut and pose included: House of Holland, Fyodor Golan, Mulberry, Sass & Bide, Christopher Kane, Jean-Pierre Braganza, John Rocha and PPQ. No stranger to the catwalk Renee has spent the last two years working the runways of Paris, Milan and New York as well as London and her résumé is already looking mighty impressive.
The secret to her success? Her face has the ability to transform and adapt taking on a broad range of looks. Her frame and height 1.77cm make her perfect for the catwalk, she walks with confidence and poise but without taking over from the clothes. Take it from us - this girl is set to remain at the top of her game for a good while yet!
