“Having reviewed the demographics of the location we believe there is enormous opportunity to work with the creative industry within Barking. Our grateful thanks must also go to Derek Levy and Becky Price both officers responsible for helping to grow creative industries in the Barking and Dagenham borough, who have given us tremendous support and encouraged us to open our second site. We are still in discussions with another site in Kingston too and we should know about this retail unit within the next four weeks.”

Continued Jenny Holloway Fashion Enter believe that while online sales are important retail is still king for shoppers. Consumers today won’t necessarily buy new designer collections off websites – they have to feel confident that they are buying the right garment at the right level of quality and naturally the price has to be right too. Fashion Enter has the leading UK fashion portal for the UK www.fashioncapital.co.uk which has had over 5.5m hits from over 60,000 unique users.

Jenny further commented: “It’s not enough today to offer just retail to both consumers and new designers. There has to be a full package of support that enables customers to be happy and designers to have access to all level of business support irrespective of the age of their business. The Profile fashion event which is sponsored by Hobbs, Debenhams and Whistles is also excellent news for designers today. This event is in collaboration with Fashion Expo on 5th and 6th November at the Business Design Centre in Islington.”

Customers of Fashion Enter are delighted with their new Couturier Service which enables customers to design their own garments for any occasion and also to have existing garments reworked and upgraded.

“It’s simple old fashion practices and attention to detail,” Jenny said, “we offer a unique service for a very unique client base.”
