Katherine Alexander Jewellery announces Emma Watson endorsement and brand’s e-boutique launch.

 

 

Luxury accessories designer, Katherine Alexander, sees her designs endorsed by the fashion industry’s newest crush, Emma Watson, for the pre-premier photo-call for her latest film.

 

Emma Watson stated, ‘I always had my own identity. I have held on to that very strongly and refuse to be told what I should wear. If stylists work with me, they never just give me a dress and I'll put it on.’

 

Alexander’s pieces are formed from meticulously sourced antique costume jewels set into high-gloss Perspex, creating one-off hero cuffs and shedding fresh light on the vintage trend.

 

As well as on her recently launched e-boutique, Alexander’s most recent stockist win sees her pieces at high-end salon and vintage fashion retailer Atelier Mayer. Alexander’s jewellery can be seen alongside prestige brands such as Cartier, Balmain and Dior Joaillerie.

 

 

Based in London, Katherine was a freelance fashion stylist throughout the 1990's and early 2000's, with editorial highlights including i-D, the Sunday Times Magazine and Harpers Bazaar Far East, as well as music, advertising, portrait and still-life work.  Switching to retail in 2003, she became manager and buyer/selector for the independent Notting Hill boutique, Yates Buchanan, who have sold her jewellery since 2008.
