Ziad Ghanem Couture Fall/Winter 2009/10 – ‘Walpurgis Night’

Ziad Ghanem's couture line is growing at a remarkable pace and his one-off, hand-crafted designs can be spotted at the most glamorous soirees across the globe.

 

The latest project for the London based designer is his Fall/Winter couture collection which will be exclusively launched via i-Phone & i-Pod Touch in the next issue of Drama magazine. (The world’s first fully downloadable fashion & performance magazine.) Angular, bold and striking, this collection takes a harder, darker edge and yet retains sophistication, femininity and a good dose of modern luxury.

 

Entitled ‘Walpurgis Night’ the collection is inspired by Goethe’s ‘Faust’ and is the result of a unique creative collaboration. Bespoke corset maker Ian Frazer Wallace applies his superbly crafted body-contouring skills. Designer Sergei Grinko specially created the extravagant jewellery and embroidery. And performer, model and muse Polly Fey modelled the collection shot by Drama Editor-in-Chief Ram Shergill.

 

Walpurgis Night by Ziad Ghanem will be launched on the 6th July 2009 and can also be previewed in the next edition of Drama and via www.ziadghanem.co.uk
