FASHION PR PRESS RELEASES
ZARA LANDS AT HEATHROWHeathrow welcomes Zara as the Spanish store checks-in to Terminal 3 – a first for a UK airport.
The 2,830 sq ft store opens its doors this week and is the first ever Zara store to open at a UK airport. It is also one of the first stores in the UK which will receive the retailer’s new global design concept which was recently unveiled in Westfield Stratford.
Bringing travellers the best of the high street, Zara will offer lines from its premium women’s collection, ‘Zara Studio’, as well as a wide-range of accessories such as bags and shoes. The range available will be perfect for updating passengers travel wardrobe or picking up those seasonal essentials.
Since Zara’s first store in 1975 in Spain, it now has over 1,700 stores across the globe in 78 countries. With new garments landing in stores twice weekly, passengers passing through the terminal will have plenty to look forward to.
“Heathrow works hard to understand what passengers passing through want and it’s because of this the airport is able determine the retail mix at each terminal. With the introduction of Zara, Heathrow will give passengers the high-quality retail offering they want but at accessible prices because value for money forms an integral part of the airport’s retail proposition.”
Across all four terminals, the airport offers a wide range and mix of stores from high street favourites to luxury brands. There is a cross section of international brands on offer to ensure a broad appeal to all travellers, and to meet a variety of needs from travel essentials, including toiletries and books, to treats such as fragrances and beauty products.
Zara will be the latest retailer to open up at the Terminal 3 and will accompany the likes of Paul Smith, Miu Miu, Mulberry, Harrods, Ralph Lauren, Hermes and Kurt Geiger to name but a few.
