PEACOCKS’ CHLOE INSPIRED SATCHEL

THE TEN POUND CHLOE INSPIRED SATCHEL

PEACOCKS’ CHLOE INSPIRED SATCHEL INSTANT BEST SELLER

Peacocks’ tan moc croc satchel £10, inspired by Chloe

Peacocks, the UK’s hottest value fashion retailer declares this spring the season of the satchel, after its £10 Chloe inspired satchel sold out in less than a week after landing in stores nationwide.

Peacocks’ moc croc shoulder satchel launched in selected stores at the start of this week, instantly selling out as customers sought to get their hands on the designer inspired bag for just a tenna. Sonia Rykiel inspired perforated cream and beige satchels £14, and denim slouch styles from £6 are also topping the value retailer’s best selling accessories list.

The satchel is the key shape this season with Peacocks investing in over 120,000 units across various satchel styles for spring alone, confirming this classic handbag style as the rival to last season’s quilted Chanel inspired shoulder bag.  A new order of its Chloe inspired satchel is expected to land in stores next week.

Chloe’s influence on this season’s high street is not exclusive to handbags, its mid-heel is also proving popular, with this new heel height attributing to a  40 per cent uplift in the retailer’s footwear sandal sales (year on year) with customers seeking a more comfortable and sensible choice of footwear.

Sarah O Shea, Peacocks’ Director of Accessories said: “The satchel shape is bang on trend this season and our new mock croc design takes its cues from the catwalk to give customers an unbeatable take on the designer version at just £10.  We anticipate the trend for satchels to continue into autumn/winter.”
