Design a Womenswear Collection

Currently unemployed based in the South West and have lashings of creative and fashion design ideas? If so then we have the competition just for you.

The Brief:

To design a capsule womenswear range consisting of 4 – 6 pieces for Spring/Summer 2011.

Design experience is not essential we are looking for creative flair and innovative but wearable ideas.

The Winner:

Designs will be uploaded on to the FashionCapital website www.fashioncapital.co.uk where the public can vote online for their favourite pieces. The winning range will be selected from a shortlist of designs with the most votes by an experienced industry panel.

The Prize:

+ The winning collection will be professionally made-up in a London factory that produces garments for Jaeger, ASOS and Aquascutum

+ The designs will be sold at British Designers@FashionCapital boutique - Bath and the winner will receive a commission on all sales

+ Free membership to www.fashioncapital.co.uk for 1 year offering expert advice and industry links (worth £399 plus VAT)

+ Opportunities to link with key industry professionals to gain experience/employment

How to Submit:

Please clearly sketch ideas in pen on A4 white paper, a front and back view of each garment is needed. On each sheet please add fabric preference, colourways and your name, address, e-mail and phone number.
