12 Minds 1 Label – Maiden Britain

 

The creative mind is a powerful tool but why settle for one when you can form a collective? That’s exactly the ethos of Maiden Britain; an extended family of artistic individuals that get together and collaborate on a wide range of inspiring projects…

 

Maiden Britain is made up of 12 pro-active creative individuals with a mutual interest in creating and sharing challenging work that expresses their desires, thoughts and experiences.

 

The members include fashion designers, tailors, photographers, writers, poets, musicians, illustrators, philosophers, teachers, make-up artists, performance artists, stylists and graffiti artists.

 

Robert Boon is a prime example of the Maiden Britain family, like many creatives he does not limit himself to one discipline and enjoys the challenge of new creative experiences. Described as a graphic artist, typographer, artist and illustrator, Boon, no doubt, has more to add to his multi-tasking artistic skills.

 

On Maiden Britain he says:

“Maiden Britain is an extended family of creative people that believe and depend on each other. We are supporters of a revolutionary concept of arts, fashion, publications, film, music and contemporary cultures.

 

Our purpose is not to create a new literary, artistic or philosophical movement, but to explode the social order, to transform life itself and to put an end to creative laws limitation in the industry.

We are fashions worst nightmare and arts biggest enemy and yet we are most fashionable and arty.

Our intention is to constantly argue against indolent society and inherited tradition with our only weapon: The products of our labour.

 

 

Our rules are simple: live, work, love and laugh together.”
